Where required by law, we will only use such information consistent with the privacy notices and consents under which it was collected.
2.4 Sensitive Information
We do not knowingly request, and ask that you do not submit through the Site, sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, payment card data, health information, or precise geolocation. 4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- Service providers. We use third-party vendors to host the Site, send and receive email, schedule meetings, run analytics, manage customer relationships, and provide IT and security services. These vendors only receive the information they need to perform their functions for us and are contractually bound to protect it.
- Professional advisors. We may share information with our attorneys, accountants, insurers, and other advisors when reasonably necessary for our business.
- Legal and safety. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, legal process, or a government request, or is reasonably necessary to protect our rights, the rights of others, or the security or integrity of the Site.
- Corporate transactions. If EKP is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer that materially affects this policy.
- With your direction. We will share your information with other parties when you direct us to do so.
5. Targeted Advertising and "Sale" or "Sharing" of Information
We do not currently engage in cross-context behavioral advertising and do not sell personal information for money. To the extent that the use of third-party analytics cookies or similar technologies on the Site is considered a "sale" or "sharing" under U.S. state privacy laws, you may opt out as described in Section 9 below.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- Keep the Site functioning properly
- Remember your preferences
- Measure traffic and understand how visitors interact with the Site
- Support security and fraud prevention
You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not function correctly if you do. Browser-based "Do Not Track" signals are not currently honored due to the lack of an industry standard. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as the Global Privacy Control.
Where required, more information about the specific cookies and trackers in use is available on request via the contact details in Section 14.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to maintain our business records, to comply with legal obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When the retention period ends, we delete or anonymize the information.
8. How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for safeguarding any credentials you create, for the security of the device you use to access the Site, and for the content you choose to transmit.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside, you may have rights regarding your personal information. We honor verifiable requests as required by applicable law.
9.1 U.S. State Privacy Rights
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia, or another U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, you may have the following rights, subject to legal exceptions:
- The right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how it has been used and shared
- The right to access a copy of that information in a portable format
- The right to correct inaccurate information
- The right to delete personal information we hold about you

- The right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights
- The right to appeal a denial of a privacy rights request
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request" and tell us which right you want to exercise. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request and may ask for additional information for that purpose. If you use an authorized agent, we may require written proof of authorization.
If we deny your request and you wish to appeal, reply to our denial with "Appeal" in the subject line and we will respond as required by your state's law.
9.2 Other Jurisdictions
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with comprehensive data protection law, you may have additional rights under your local law. Contact us using the information in Section 14 and we will respond consistent with applicable legal requirements.
